In December 2025, Innovit Electric was awarded a contract by Schneider Electric to deliver an advanced online partial discharge (PD) monitoring solution for the Malaysia Nxera Hyperscale Data Center Project.
The online PD monitoring system provided by Innovit Electric will enable continuous, real-time monitoring and early fault detection across 76 GIS switchgear units, delivering proactive protection and significantly reducing the risk of unplanned outages.
Designed to improve power supply reliability, the system ensures the safe, stable, and continuous operation of the data center’s critical electrical infrastructure.
The project is owned by TM Nxera (Telekom Malaysia Nxera), a joint venture between Telekom Malaysia (TM) and Singtel. TM Nxera is dedicated to the development of next-generation, AI-ready data centers across the region. Its mission is to provide resilient, high-performance digital infrastructure for hyperscale cloud service providers and enterprise customers, while supporting the growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and driving regional digital transformation.
