In May 2025, Innovit Electric successfully established a partnership with Hitachi Energy Turkey Elektrik and delivered its advanced Transient Earth Voltage Sensors (iTEV) to enhance partial discharge (PD) monitoring in power systems.
In partial discharge (PD) monitoring systems, sensor accuracy, and sensitivity are critical for reliable fault detection and diagnosis. Innovit’s TEV sensors detect transient voltage signals on metal switchgear surfaces, enabling precise identification of internal discharges through electromagnetic emissions.
The integration of Innovit’s TEV sensors will significantly enhance Hitachi Energy’s ability to perform proactive maintenance on customer grid assets. Through real-time equipment monitoring and early detection of potential faults, these sensors contribute to extending the service life of critical infrastructure, supporting the reliable expansion and efficient operation of the power grid, and reinforcing the commitment to building a low-carbon, sustainable future.
