March 2026, Innovit Electric delivered two HFCT (High Frequency Current Transformer) sensors to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a globally recognized institution renowned for excellence in engineering, innovation, and applied research. The sensors will support research activities in high-voltage engineering and electrical insulation diagnostics.
HFCT sensors are widely used to detect and analyze Partial Discharge (PD) activity, providing researchers with a reliable, non-intrusive method for assessing the condition of high-voltage insulation systems and identifying potential defects at an early stage. The delivered sensors feature a split-core design that enables flexible installation and continuous monitoring without interfering with normal system operation, making them well-suited for both laboratory research and real-world applications.
Through collaboration with leading academic institutions such as The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Innovit Electric continues to support the development of safer, more efficient, and more reliable power systems.
