Successful Development of PDU-S1

November 2019, Innovit Electric has released the PDU-S1 UHF partial discharge sensor for partial discharge detection in metal-enclosed switchgear (MCSG).

MCSG are widely used in power distribution installations. The correct functioning of the MCSG is directly dependent on the reliability of the power network and the end user’s power quality. Partial discharge monitoring is an effective way of detecting and troubleshooting potential faults with MCSG and can be used for insulation diagnosis in MCSG.
