Current Limiter For Maple Leaf Cement Passed FAT Successfully

In September 2024, the fault current Limiter(Is-limiter) for Maple Leaf Cement (MLCFL) Successfully passed all inspections and tests verified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and was witnessed by the customer.

The fault current Limiter(Is-limiter) will be shipped to Pakistan and commissioned soon to solve the challenging short-circuit problem of the cement plant’s power system and ensure the safe operation.

This cooperation with MLCFL is Innovit Electric‘s first entry into the Pakistani market, reflecting the customer’s recognition of Innovit Electric’s advanced technology and ability to solve complex power system problems. It is a milestone in Innovit Electric’s internationalisation strategy and lays a solid foundation for further expansion in South Asia.

Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (MLCFL) is part of the Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group which is a reputable manufacturer of textiles and cement in Pakistan. Maple Leaf Cement is the largest single cement production site in Pakistan. It is one of the pioneers of the cement industry in Pakistan. Currently, the Company operates via three production lines for the production of grey cement and one line for white cement in which it owns more than 90% market share. All four lines are owned assets of the Company. The total installed capacity for clinker production is 5,700,000 tons annually.
