The FAT of UFCL-limiter for Shaanxi Diesel’s Asmara Mining 28MW HFO Power Plant Project, Eritrea, was successfully completed on March 17, 2025. During the test, the technical team examined the fault current limiter, a key component of the system. The results confirmed its ability to effectively interrupt fault currents and maintain stable system operation, providing crucial technical assurance for the reliability and safety of the mine’s power infrastructure.
By precisely cutting off fault currents exceeding the system’s rated permissible rating, the fault current limiter enhances power grid resilience, enabling mining operations to manage high-load challenges while ensuring uninterrupted production and optimizing energy efficiency.
The success of the Asmara project not only demonstrates our technological prowess but also that we have essentially kept our word to our clients.
